About the job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance SAP Transformation Consultant to join our team, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP finance solutions for our corporate clients. This role involves leading end-to-end SAP finance transformations, improving financial processes and controls, and supporting other finance related client projects.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Lead end-to-end SAP transformation projects, and provide guidelines for business requirements definition and solution design to implementation and post-go-live support
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CFO, COO, Finance Directors), translating business strategy and operational needs into scalable SAP solutions
Drive business process redesign (BPR) initiatives, leveraging SAP best practices to optimize finance, controlling, supply chain, and operational processes
Bridge the gap between business and technical team (impementor), ensuring alignment between functional requirements, SAP configuration, and technical development
Define and govern SAP functional architecture, including integration across SAP modules and with third-party systems
Oversee SAP solution design and configuration with a strong focus on data quality, reporting, controls, and compliance (e.g. IFRS, group reporting, audit requirements)
Support ERP selection and SAP roadmap definition, including fit-gap analysis, effort estimation, and business case development
Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring quality of deliverables and adherence to consulting and SAP standards
Collaborate with project managers to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines across complex SAP engagements
Contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal preparation, solution positioning, and client presentations
Stay up to date with SAP innovations (e.g. S/4HANA, SAP Analytics, automation tools) and proactively identify opportunities to create additional business value for clients
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field/ discipline providing experience in :
Finance processes analysis and reengineering
Accounting and costing principles
Auditing background with a business understanding and acumen
IFRS standards implementation
Financial Statements understanding and management reporting requirements
Cash flow and working capital requirements
Costing principles
ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed) will be considered as an asset
Knowledge in Finance systems (ERPs or BI tools)
Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Experience of working with multiple clients
Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals
Effective communication and rapport building skills
Excellent analysis and data reporting skills
A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members
Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions
A customer-centric approach
An extremely high work ethic and critical thinking
Motivation for career progression and development
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Fluent in both Greek & English
