We are seeking an experienced Life Actuarial Consultant to join our Insurance Services team, focusing on supporting insurance organizations through actuarial analysis, regulatory compliance, product development, and business transformation initiatives. This role involves delivering actuarial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance profitability, risk management, and customer value across life insurance operations.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Participate in a broad range of actuarial and consulting projects in the insurance sector, mainly focusing on actuarial modeling, valuation, pricing, and business transformation initiatives

  • Support the gathering, structuring, and documentation of actuarial and business requirements

  • Analyze life insurance portfolios, assumptions, profitability metrics, and actuarial data to support business decisions

  • Assist in or lead actuarial calculations related to reserving, pricing, forecasting, and solvency requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, risk, operations, developers, and other consultants

  • Help ensure solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and actuarial standards

  • Participate in or lead client meetings to present actuarial findings and provide recommendations

  • Ensure professionalism, quality, and accuracy in all actuarial analysis and deliverables

  • Contribute to a collaborative and ethical work environment

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

  • 2+ years of experience in Life Insurance in a consulting or insurance company

  • BSc/BA in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex actuarial and financial data

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Effective time management and organizational abilities

  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative working style

  • High level of professionalism and work ethics

  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Client-facing experience and ability to communicate actuarial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
