What you'll do
- Contribute to planning and executing IT General Controls (ITGC) assessments within statutory audit engagements
- Perform Walkthroughs and Test of Controls of ITGCs across key domains
- Assess Automated Controls and IT-dependent manual controls providing clear conclusions to assurance teams
- Execute data analytics procedures to identify anomalies and validate data integrity
- Prepare and maintain audit workpapers in accordance with professional standards
- Liaise with client IT personnel to obtain evidence and communicate findings
- Plan and execute IT and Security internal audits and compliance reviews aligned with regulatory requirements
- Conduct IT and Security Gap Assessments against recognized frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST
- Evaluate IT and cybersecurity control frameworks to identify weaknesses and risks
- Support design and enhancement of IT and Information Security policies and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT management and security officers to recommend risk mitigation and strengthen cybersecurity posture
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- CISA certification and experience in IT General Controls (ITGC) assessments
- Knowledge of Automated Controls Reviews and Walkthroughs and Test of Controls
- Experience with Statutory Audit, audit workpapers preparation, and IT dependent manual controls assessment
- Understanding of Information Security, Cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Familiarity with SAP ERP environments especially User Access and Change Management audits
- Capability in data analytics procedures and communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks
- Computer Science / Information Securitypreferred
