About the job

We are seeking an experienced FP&A & Procurement Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to the CFO. This role involves driving financial planning and analysis activities, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, overseeing procurement operations, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize financial performance, ensure cost efficiency, and strengthen procurement governance across the organization.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes by analyzing operational, accounting, and procurement-related financial data

  • Preparing monthly performance reports, variance analysis, and financial insights to support decision-making, cost control, and process visibility

  • Μonitoring vendor invoices with purchase order references in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing

  • Monitoring prepayments, accruals, and clearing activities to ensure proper financial reporting and timely issue resolution

  • Reviewing contracts and validating commercial terms against purchase orders and invoices to support compliance, documentation quality, and financial risk mitigation

  • Maintaining contract and procurement tracking files, coordinating with Buyers and internal stakeholders, and driving closure of procurement-related open items

  • Executing internal controls and compliance activities, while supporting internal and external audit requirements

  • Using ERP and reporting tools to improve data quality, control effectiveness, reporting visibility, and process efficiency across finance and procurement activities

  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following (hard and soft skills):

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, procurement finance, FP&A support, financial controlling, procure-to-pay, or a similar role

  • Hands-on experience in procurement processes, including PO matching, vendor reconciliations, and procurement control activities

  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, accruals, reconciliations, discrepancy investigation, and internal control procedures

  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence in working with financial data, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting

  • Exposure to IFRS and compliance-driven finance functions would be considered a strong asset

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree would be considered an asset

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend practical solutions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance, Procurement, Buyers, auditors, and operational teams

  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal

  • A proactive, well-organized, and improvement-oriented mindset with high professional standards, ownership, and attention to detail
