business transformation consultant

Business Transformation team is part of Deals Services, which belongs to the Advisory Services department of Grant Thornton Greece, and undertakes complex transformation and strategic planning engagements for large Greek and multinational enterprises, SMEs, private equity funds and other investors.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Assesses client needs and analyzes current business and operating models (e.g., organizational setup, business processes, KPIs, systems), to diagnose issues, analyze root causes and develop pragmatic improvement recommendations and strategic plans, in line with best practices

• Participates in client meetings and workshops to understand current practices, identify pain points and assess potential improvement opportunities

• Conducts customer and market research, leveraging internal and external sources, to identify trends and transformation priorities that are relevant for each particular sector

• Assumes ownership of project deliverables and presentations that are clear and impactful, creating compelling value propositions for Grant Thornton clients

• Exhibits strong project management skills, including development and implementation of project plans, progress monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Contributes to the preparation of proposals for business development purposes

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within consulting / advisory services environment, in any of the following areas: strategic & business planning, performance improvement, business process reengineering, organizational restructuring, digital transformation, commercial due diligence, market assessment

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or relevant fields. Master’s degree or MBA will be considered a strong asset

• Strong knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project and/or MS Visio will be considered an asset

• Strong project management skills. PMP Certification will be considered an asset

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to provide business insights

• Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness

• Advanced communication (written and verbal), presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to build strong client relationships at all levels

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Organizational & time management skills, and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments

• Results oriented, with a passion and motivation to provide high quality advisory services to our clients

• An extremely high work ethic

• Motivation for career progression and development

• Fluent in both Greek and English

• Fulfilled military obligation (if applicable)
