What you'll do
- Manage design process from initial design to as built drawings for electrical and automation projects
- Design electrical switchboards, PLC systems, power management systems, and power plants
- Perform marine electrical systems design and analysis
- Create electrical load schedules and electrical single line diagrams
- Conduct short circuit and circuit breaker calculations
- Select electrical equipment and prepare electrical cable schedules
- Design cable tray layouts, cable routes, and termination diagrams
- Prepare electrical material take offs
- Integrate automation systems for vessels and yachts
- Prepare design drawings and documentation
Key requirements
- Experience with marine electrical systems design and analysis
- Proficient in Electrical Load Schedule and Electrical Single Line Diagrams
- Skilled in Short Circuit Calculation and Circuit Breaker Calculation
- Knowledge of Electrical Equipment Selection and Cable Tray Layout
- Experienced in Electrical Cable Schedule, Cable Route Preparation, Termination Diagram, and Electrical Material Take Off
- Proficient in EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of classification rules and marine safety regulations
- Electrical Engineering / Marine Electrical systems

Golden A/S (Συστήματα Ισχύος Α.Τ.Ε.Ε.), a marine automation company is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with strong engineering design background with keen sense of punctuality, presentation and details. The Electrical Engineer will be joining our design team and manage all the process from initial design to as built drawings creation of various electrical / automation projects including but not limited to: Electrical Switchboards, PLC Systems, Power management Systems, Power Plants, in the Greece.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience in marine electrical systems design and analysis, Electrical Load Schedule, Electrical Single Line diagrams
Short Circuit calculation, Circuit breaker calculation, Electrical equipment selection
Electrical cable schedule, Cable tray layout, cable route preparation, termination diagram
Preparation of electrical material take off
Possess good knowledge in automation integrations such as vessels, yachts etc.
Prepare design drawings and documentation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Technical / Professional: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Diploma / Degree in Marine Electrical system is preferred
Technological:
Very Good Experience use of electrical engineering software (EPLAN and Autocad)
Competent in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of classification rules & requirements, statutory regulations, marine safety & technical codes and other relevant engineering standards applicable to ships
General:
Ability to work well under pressure
Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently
