As a Butcher, you will be responsible for selecting, cutting, and preparing various cuts of meat, as well as monitoring and maintaining proper storage and inventory of meat products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent knife skills, and a strong understanding of meat quality and cuts taken care of by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities
Select, cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat
Ensure the highest quality standards for meat products
Monitor and maintain proper storage and inventory of meat products
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new meat-based dishes and recipes
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Manage and operate butchering equipment and tools
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Butcher in a high-end restaurant or hotel
Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and meat quality
Excellent knife skills and precision in butchering techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
