What you'll do
- Monitor implementation of the Airport Security Program, Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions
- Participate actively in emergencies or incidents threatening airport Security or operations
- Monitor attendance of security personnel and staffing of security points
- Verify shift security hours schedule and inform Security Supervisor and Airport Duty Manager
- Take measures to prevent operational disruptions and ensure operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Maintain continuous communication with Security Manager and Duty Manager to ensure task execution according to the Airport Security Program
- Respond to and assist Police in emergencies under Security Supervisor guidance
- Respond to ID card requests in absence of ID Card Officers when available
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of HCAA’s requirements and procedures in Aviation Security
- Professional experience in Aviation Security and Airport operations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- High School Diploma
- Driving License Cat: B
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written)
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable)
- Strong team-oriented skills, analytical skills, communication, verbal skills, and customer service skills

What you will be doing:
Μonitor the implementation of the Airport Security Program, the Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions.
Actively participate, in emergencies or other occurrences threatening the Security or normal operations of the airport.
Monitor the attendance of the security personnel and the proper staffing of security points, verify the shift’s security hours schedule, and inform accordingly the Security Supervisor and Airport Duty Manager.
Take measures and actions to prevent operational disruptions, ensuring operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a continuous line of communication with the SM, Duty Manager of the security services provider, to ensure the proper execution of the assigned tasks in compliance with the Airport’s Security Program.
Respond to and assist the Police in emergency situations, under the Security Supervisor’s directions and guidance.
Respond to ID card requests in the absence of ID Card Officers, upon availability.
Requirements
Do you fulfill the required skills?
High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
A 3-5 years of solid professional experience in Aviation Security.
Excellent knowledge of the HCAA’s requirements and procedures, in the field of Aviation Security.
Previous experience in Airport operations.
Proficiency in MS Office
Driving License Cat: B
Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable).

Construction projects at airside operational areas of the regional airports included renovating 12 runways, improving ramp areas, and constructing and renovating 12 fire stations. All of the airports have also been equipped with new state-of-the-art baggage handling and security systems.
The 14 Greek regional airports project is one of the largest and most beneficial investments and is a basis for boosting the Greek economy.
