What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate the hotel’s day-to-day operations
- Supervise Rooms and Food and Beverage leadership across operational departments
- Enhance guest experience by reviewing feedback and resolving service issues
- Apply hotel standards, policies, and procedures consistently
- Review revenue, labor, and financial performance to achieve operational goals
- Control operating expenses and capital expenditures within established guidelines
- Partner on staffing, recruitment, employee development, morale, and performance matters
- Maintain the hotel through housekeeping, engineering, and preventive maintenance programs
- Protect guest and employee welfare and lead emergency or crisis responses
- Assume the General Manager’s responsibilities during their absence
Key requirements
- Hotel operations leadership in a luxury hotel or resort
- Rooms operations and Food and Beverage operations
- Financial management, budget management, and profit and loss analysis
- Forecasting, labor cost management, and capital expenditure management
- Guest experience management, health and safety management, and crisis management
- Stakeholder management and recruitment and employee development
