About the job
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged Valet Runner in Laundry Team for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract).
What You Will Do
Pick up and assume responsibility for keys and a pager.
Package and arrange for delivery any guest laundry and/or dry cleaning.
Pick up and deliver guest's laundry and dry cleaning from and to guest rooms.
Handle special situations such as "Do Not Disturbs", special instructions from guests or lock out rooms.
Display a high level of professionalism, warmth and integrity while in guest rooms or in guest areas.
Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Follow proper cashiering procedures.
Sorts, processes and finishes Guest Clothing and Employee Uniforms to exacting standards.
Answers telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services. Logs the request and goes to Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service.
Ascertains time completed goods are required. Counts the items and gives guest a completed receipt. Marks guest clothing for identification.
Assist to sort guest items for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair). Delivers clothing to guest at time desired.
Sorts employee uniforms for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair).
What You Bring
Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.
Good verbal communication skills in English are essential.
