We are currently looking for a Plumber to join our Engineering team at the iconic Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and smooth operation of all plumbing systems throughout the hotel. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing safe and efficient solutions. By ensuring that all plumbing systems function seamlessly, you will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

What You Will Do:

• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and drains across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

• Perform preventive maintenance and support major shutdowns or repairs under the direction of the Assistant Engineering Manager.

• Estimate, requisition, and maintain the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for plumbing projects.

• Maintain accurate logs and reports of maintenance activities and materials used.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and employee inquiries or complaints, ensuring timely solutions and follow-up.

• Support cross-departmental requests by repairing items brought to the Engineering shop.

• Assist in installing, relocating, or upgrading plumbing systems and associated equipment.

• Keep all engineering stations neat, safe, and organized.

• Participate actively in departmental meetings, training sessions, and hotel-wide initiatives.

• Respond to emergency situations, such as floods, power failures, or fires, in accordance with hotel procedures.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Engineering Manager or Engineering Director.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar technical role.

• Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and maintenance procedures.

• Strong problem-solving ability and technical know-how.

• Professional communication skills with a guest-focused attitude.

• Flexibility to adapt to operational needs and willingness to assist other Engineering functions when required.

• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and the highest standards of workmanship.
