We are looking for Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our Seasonal team!
What you will do
- Lead and mentor a dedicated pastry team, ensuring that each member is motivated, trained, and working efficiently.
- Schedule shifts and oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen to guarantee smooth and effective production.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef to develop new pastry concepts, recipes, and maintain consistently high culinary standards.
- Maintain strict quality control: Ensure taste, texture, presentation, and temperature of all pastry items meet Four Seasons' exacting standards.
- Manage inventory and requisition necessary supplies to ensure continuous production of high-quality pastries.
- Oversee production of all pastries and desserts, ensuring they align with Michelin-level standards.
What you bring
- Previous experience in a Michelin-starred or fine-dining pastry kitchen is required
- Proven ability to create high-quality pastries and desserts to Michelin-level standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a dynamic pastry team.
- Creativity and attention to detail with a passion for pastry arts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the pastry arts.
