At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Department for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). This role is crucial in supervising and coordinating the production of high-quality dishes while maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
What You Will Do
Supervise and coordinate the preparation of food items according to standard procedures and recipes, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, assist in training, and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Participate in menu development, tasting menus, and special occasion productions. Manage requisitions, inventory, and proper storage of ingredients, ensuring adherence to portion standards and minimizing waste. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, and ensure all culinary operations meet Four Seasons standards. Collaborate closely with all chefs and service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
What You Bring
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.
Previous experience in a similar supervisory culinary role is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of pastry and hot kitchen operations, food preparation, and culinary standards.
Ability to lead and train kitchen staff effectively.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Greek is an advantage.
Food Service Sanitation certification is an asset.
