About the Role 
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged Assistant Waiter / Pool Attendant to join our Kyma Pool & Beach team for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). You will ensure guests enjoy a seamless and relaxed poolside experience, providing attentive service while upholding Four Seasons’ high standards of hospitality. 

What You Will Do 

• Oversee service of guest amenities (towels, cold towels, juices, fruits, and other items) to ensure Four Seasons standards are met. 

• Assist guests with seating, towels, and inform them about hotel amenities, pool services, and food & beverage options. 

• Escort patrons to/from spa facilities as required. 

• Maintain pool deck cleanliness, safety, and organization of pool equipment. 

• Pick up, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other amenities as needed. 

• Utilize the hotel computer system for sales, check printing, closing checks, and end-of-day reporting. 

• Conduct all opening & closing procedures for the pool, including keys, cabinets, amenities, and towel setup. 

• Serve and clear beverages and complimentary items unobtrusively and professionally. 

• Set up, move, and maintain pool deck equipment, umbrellas, heaters, and evening lighting. 

• Collaborate with third-party lifeguards to ensure wet area safety. 

• Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct. 

• Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. 

• Assist with food & beverage service across the hotel, guest rooms, and special events as required. 

What You Bring 

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience. 

• Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece. 

• Previous experience in pool/beach service, hospitality, or food & beverage is an advantage. 

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Greek is an advantage. 

• Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus.

Schedule & Hours 

• Summer Seasonal Job – 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.
