As an Assistant Income Auditor, you will be responsible for supporting the Income Auditor in verifying and reporting hotel revenues, reviewing paperwork from various departments, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in finance, as no prior experience in the field is required.

What You Will Do:

• Collect and audit revenue-related paperwork from all departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Assist in reviewing daily void reports and post-departure allowances.
• Prepare the hotel’s daily bank deposits, control all House Funds, and issue, audit, and maintain all House Banks according to Four Seasons Hotels Ltd. policies and procedures, in the absence of the General Cashier.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Communicate any instances where paperwork is at variance with internal controls to the Income Auditor, Staff Accountant, and Assistant Director of Finance.
• Provide support in handling guest inquiries related to the Accounting Department, including folio and credit card inquiries.
• Assist in collaborating with other departments for smooth hotel operations.

What You Bring:

• High School education (College education is a plus but not required).
• No prior experience in finance is necessary; however, a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A basic understanding of Excel is preferred.
