We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-savvy Power BI Developer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful Power BI dashboards and reports, transforming data into actionable intelligence. Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX is essential.

Reporting to the  Data & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

• Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and compelling visualizations

• Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

• Create advanced DAX measures and calculated columns for custom analytics

• Ensure data accuracy and performance of reports across various datasets

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to continuously improve reporting capabilities

• Maintain documentation of reports, data flows, and data models

Qualifications & Competencies required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in BI development with a strong focus on Power BI

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation

• Advanced knowledge of DAX for building measures and calculations

• Experience with Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, scheduled refreshes)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset

• Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem-solving skills 

• Willing to learn and embrace new technologies 

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• Experience with Power Query (M language)

• Familiarity with Azure Data sources (e.g., Azure SQL DB, Synapse, Data Lake)

• Understanding of data warehouse and dimensional modeling concepts

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
