What you'll do
- Provide excellent customer service
- Greet customers and present menus
- Suggest options based on customer preferences
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software
- Serve food and drink orders
- Attend to priorities and special requests, including food allergies and vegan options
- Upsell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Communicate and cooperate with serving and kitchen staff
- Follow health department regulations and customer service guidelines
Key requirements
- Food and beverage service, customer service and order taking
- POS ordering software, ordering information systems and cash register operation
- English language
- Upselling and awareness of food allergies and vegan options
- Payment collection and table setting
- Health and safety compliance, multitasking and shift flexibility
