What you'll do
- Review and perform detailed engineering studies for piping systems following international regulations
- Perform piping stress calculations using CAESAR II or Rohr2 software
- Design piping supports
- Prepare and review Plot Plans, Piping Layouts, and Piping Isometrics
- Conduct RFQ for special items like expansion joints, springs, and snubbers
- Undertake Material Take Off (MTO) activities at all project stages
- Support construction teams with technical clarifications during fabrication and erection
- Participate in technical negotiations and clarifications with suppliers and customers
- Assist in developing department specifications
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Piping stress analysis using CAESAR II and Rohr2 software
- Piping design and analysis following ASME B31.1 / B31.3, ASME B16.5, EN13480, EN1092, API standards, and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
- Mechanical engineering knowledge
- Interpretation of P&IDs and piping isometrics
- Piping supports design
- Use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering
