About the job
Everllence Hellas is looking for an experienced and motivated Piping / Stress Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team in Piraeus. You will be responsible for the verification of the piping layout of the machinery skids and plant applications, conduct piping stress calculations, assist in the piping support design as well as in the development of piping classes. This role works in close collaboration with the mechanical systems, thermodynamics and project engineering teams to deliver safe, code-compliant, and optimized piping systems solutions.
What you will be doing
Review and perform detailed engineering studies for piping systems like thickness definition, piping classes development as per applicable international regulations in plant design such as ASME, AISI, ISO, API, EN, DIN etc.
Review and perform piping stress calculations with Caesar ii or Rohr2 software, for piping systems around equipment such as compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, etc.
Design of piping supports.
Prepare / review output documents like Plot Plan, Piping Layout and Piping Isometrics.
RFQ of special items like expansion joints, springs, snubbers, etc.
Undertake MTO activities at all project stages.
Offer support to construction teams for technical clarifications during fabrication and erection phase.
Participate in technical negotiations/clarifications with suppliers and customers when required.
Assist in the development of department’s specifications
Who you are
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in piping engineering within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial sector.
Experience in the design and analysis of industrial piping systems.
Experience with piping stress analysis and CAD tools such as CAESAR II, Rohr2, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Solid knowledge and application of ASME B31.1 / 31.3, ASME B16.5, EN13480, EN1092 and familiarity with API standards and Pressure Equipment Directive PED.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping isometrics, and engineering drawings.
Experience in industrial plant, EPC, or energy-related projects is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
Fluent Greek and English; German is an advantage.
