The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a key role in the technical and commercial support of the sales cycle. The role is responsible for direct communication with customers, preparation of techno-economic proposals, and supporting the sales and business development teams. It also involves close collaboration with channel partners, providing both technical and commercial guidance, and contributing to the promotion of EUNICE solutions. Additionally, the Pre-Sales Engineer designs and prepares proposals for specialized projects handled by the company.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
Manage direct product sales and support customer inquiries.
Provide technical support to the business development team, partners, and customers before and during the sales process.
Prepare techno-economic offers and commercial proposals in line with company procedures and commercial frameworks.
Technical Studies & Proposal Development
Conduct sizing, economic, and technical studies for energy autonomy systems.
Perform techno-economic analyses for PV and energy storage systems.
Utilize departmental tools and methodologies to prepare accurate and compliant studies.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal engineering tools.
Product & Solutions Expertise
Maintain strong technical understanding of self-generation energy products, including hybrid inverters, batteries, and smart energy management systems.
Collaborate with the engineering team on the development, adaptation, and improvement of products and solutions.
Provide technical and commercial guidance to channel partners and network collaborators.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in similar engineering or pre-sales roles.
Knowledge of basic electrical installations.
Experience with renewable energy system studies (PV, storage, autonomy).
Ability to develop or adapt tools (scripting, coding, or analytical models).
Understanding of net metering frameworks.
Strong ICT literacy.
Excellent command of English.
