The Cybersecurity Architect will lead the design and implementation of next-generation security frameworks for EUNICE. This role integrates global best practices from the US cybersecurity landscape—Zero Trust, AI-driven monitoring, and compliance-by-design—into the organization’s operations. The Architect will ensure that EUNICE is not only protected against today’s threats but is resilient and adaptive to emerging risks, positioning the organization as a pioneer in cybersecurity in Greece and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy
Design and implement a Zero Trust cybersecurity architecture across all systems.
Introduce AI-driven monitoring and anomaly detection for proactive threat prevention.
Ensure cybersecurity architecture is scalable, adaptive, and resilient.
Compliance & Governance
Align security frameworks with US and international standards (NIST, CISA, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Embed compliance-by-design into applications and infrastructure.
Define and enforce security policies, controls, and standards.
Operations & Resilience
Oversee identity, access, and data protection across HR, finance, and operational systems.
Introduce cyber-resilience practices, including incident response automation.
Collaborate with infrastructure and AI teams to secure cloud, edge, and data center environments.

Advisory &Collaboration
Advise leadership on cybersecurity risk and strategic investments.
Provide technical mentorship and raise cyber-awareness across teams.
Engage external partners to ensure cutting-edge practices are adopted.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years in cybersecurity roles, with proven architecture and leadership experience.
Deep knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks, IAM, and data protection technologies.
Experience with AI-driven security platforms and advanced monitoring tools.
Familiarity with compliance standards: NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CISA guidelines.
Strong background in securing hybrid cloud and edge computing environments.
Excellent communication and advisory skills with executive leadership.
Key Competencies
Strategic cybersecurity vision with execution capability.
Ability to anticipate emerging threats and design resilient systems.
