What you'll do
- Lead architecture and solution design for Oracle APEX applications
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs
- Define application, database, integration, and security architecture
- Design and develop complex Oracle APEX applications and reusable components
- Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices
- Architect integrations with Oracle databases, REST APIs and third-party applications
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Provide technical leadership to developers and development teams
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments
- Support cloud deployment strategies including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management standards
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, DBAs, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Key requirements
- 8+ years' experience
- Oracle APEX and Oracle Database expertise
- SQL and PL/SQL programming skills
- RESTful Web Services and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
- JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Application architecture design including security, authentication, and authorization frameworks
- Data modeling and integration with external systems
- Technical leadership and code review
- Cloud deployment strategies including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering
