About the job
Energean is seeking a talented and driven Communications Officer to support the implementation of our communications and branding strategy across Greece and the wider region.
This role blends creativity with hands-on execution across internal and external communications, media relations, content creation, branding, digital engagement, and event production.
The ideal candidate brings a proactive, innovative mindset, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment — helping shape and amplify Energean’s voice, image, and impact.
Key Accountabilities
Support the planning and implementation of internal and external communication initiatives.
Draft, edit, and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, corporate presentations, the company website, and social media channels.
Monitor media coverage, prepare analytical reports, and maintain the media contacts database.
Coordinate and execute corporate events, conferences, community engagement and employee activities, from concept to delivery.
Provide creative input in branding and design, ensuring a consistent visual and narrative identity across all materials.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (PR agencies, vendors, suppliers).
Contribute fresh ideas and storytelling concepts for campaigns that highlight Energean’s projects, achievements, and sustainability agenda.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
3+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing (in-house or agency).
Familiarity with corporate communications within energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
Hands-on experience or keen interest in event production, branding, and visual communication.
Proficiency with digital tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
Excellent command of English and Greek (written and spoken).
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with design and digital tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
Skills
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both Greek and English.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with great attention to detail.
A creative mindset with visual awareness and a passion for design and brand aesthetics.
Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
