About the job

The Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor is searching for a passionate Production Manager with a continuous improvement mindset to join our dynamic Production team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.

Role Description

 Key Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for the production process (Process Owner), according to technical specifications and KPIs,  the selection and evaluation of raw materials suppliers, as well as the quality assurance of the product based on Quality Plan
•    Production Planning in accordance with annual, monthly, and daily goals, including human resources and machine planning,  raw materials order materials, and intermediate products storage 
•    Embracing continuous improvement philosophy, aiming at productivity growth, cost reduction & product quality development
•    Contributing to the implementation of trial productions, according to Research & Development plan
•    Ensuring the smooth operation and the compliance with the Maintenance Plan of machinery, including the order plan of consumables and machinery parts.
•    Ensuring safety rules and 5s orderliness rules are applied in the production site, including the supervision and coordination of internal teams or/and external contactors
•    Responsible for team’s training, regarding the production process  
 
Requirements:
•    Master’s degree in engineering, preferred Mechanical Engineering
•    A minimum of 2-5 years’ hands-on experience in industrial production environment required 
•    Full professional proficiency in English.
•    Knowledge of SAP would be considered a plus
•    Familiar with TQM philosophy desired
•    Familiar with Six-Sigma philosophy desired
