We are looking for a detail-oriented accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The accountant's responsibilities include preparing payments, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

To be successful as accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure. Accountant will be responsible to deliver an effective and efficient end to end service to the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and ensure accurate recording of transactions

• Support the development and implementation of payment policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

• Maintain accurate financial records and generate payment reports as needed

• Support continuous improvement of the payments processes

• Ensuring on time payments performance – selection of payable transactions and issuing payments in the processing system

Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field

• Min 2 years of experience in payment processing, accounting or finance

• Computer skills (SAP preferred)

• Fluency in English

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Strong Excel skills required)

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Good analytical skills
