The Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor is seeking a Mechanical Production Engineer with a continuous improvement mindset to join our dynamic Production team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the organization, supervision and optimization of the production process, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, international standards (e.g. ASME) and established KPIs
• Contibuting to Production Planning in accordance with annual, monthly and daily goals, including human resources and machine planning, raw materials order and materials and intermediate products storage
• Embracing continuous improvement philosophy, aiming at productivity growth, cost reduction & product quality development
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to support manufacturing objectives.
• Ensuring the smooth operation and the compliance with the Maintenance Plan of machinery
• Ensuring safety rules and 5s orderliness rules are applied in the production site, including the supervision and coordination of internal teams or/and external contactors
• Responsible for team’s training, regarding the production process promoting quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferrably Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ hands-on experience in industrial production environment required
• Full professional proficiency in English. Second foreign language would be considered a plus
• Knowledge of SAP would be considered a plus
• Familiar with Six-Sigma philosophy desired
