About the job
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will contribute to the overall mechanical maintenance of our production process. You are dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating enthusiasm, high motivation and passion to develop fast and picking up new skills and talents as you go.
Your role:
Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
Help develop and update maintenance logs, procedures, and work instructions.
Work alongside the team to resolve mechanical issues involving hydraulic, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and pumps.
Support in analyzing equipment failures and implementing improvement actions.
Work closely with technicians and operators, while continuously building your technical skills through training and hands-on experience.
Follow all safety procedures (including Lockout/Tagout), report hazards, and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Your profile:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply).
Up to 2 years of relevant experience. Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a significant plus.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong theoretical understanding of mechanical principles (e.g., thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science).
Basic familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Exposure to a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
