What you'll do
- Define, document, and uphold process standards such as Centerlines, SOPs, and OPLs
- Identify and eliminate losses using structured problem-solving and rapid changeover techniques
- Lead data-driven process optimization projects to improve productivity, quality, and safety
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives including traceability, Industry 4.0 tools, and analytics
- Manage new product industrial trials and support production integration
- Provide technical support for production challenges, claims, and continuous improvement
- Coach and train operators and engineers on process standards and best practices
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to sustain equipment reliability
- Drive capital projects involving process or equipment upgrades
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Manufacturing Engineering in metal/metallurgy or extrusion environments
- Process Standards including Centerlines, SOPs, and OPLs
- Data-Driven Process Optimization and Problem-Solving skills
- Rapid Changeover Techniques and Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
- Automation and Digital Transformation with Industry 4.0 tools and analytics
- New Product Industrial Trials and Technical Support for Production
- Coaching and Training abilities
- Collaboration with Maintenance and Production teams

The Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Process Engineering Department in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Define, document, and uphold process standards (Centerlines, SOPs, OPLs).
• Identify and eliminate losses using structured problem-solving and rapid changeover techniques.
• Lead data-driven process optimization projects to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Support automation and digital transformation initiatives (traceability, Industry 4.0 tools, analytics).
• Manage new product industrial trials and support seamless production integration.
• Provide technical support for production challenges, claims, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and train operators and engineers in process standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to sustain equipment reliability.
• Drive capital projects, including process or equipment upgrades.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar Engineering field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering context.
• Experience in metal/metallurgy or extrusion environments is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma will be considered a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative, and capable of coaching and engaging teams.
• Fluent in Greek and English—both written and spoken.
