is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Senior Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Athens, Greece.
As an Insurance Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in risk assessment, contract evaluation, and insurance policy management. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure adequate insurance coverage, compliance, and risk mitigation for our national and international projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Group's central insurance department to ensure adequate insurance coverage for all risks associated with Hellenic Cables' operations.
Conduct in-depth analysis of tender dossiers and various contracts, identifying liability and insurance risks, including screening and drafting relevant documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding insurance policies.
Provide expert guidance to internal teams on insurance matters, contract law, liability law, and risk management, ensuring compliance and optimal coverage.
Negotiate and coordinate with insurance brokers and insurers to address customer concerns and ensure seamless service delivery.
Oversee both group insurance policies and project-specific coverage, obtaining quotes and maintaining up-to-date policy records.
Manage and track client claims related to work and products, liaising with insurance companies, brokers, and clients.
Maintain and update insurance databases to ensure accurate tracking of risks, policies, and claims.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Finance, Law, or Business. Additional qualifications in insurance law or a strong interest in the insurance sector are a plus.
5+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
Prior experience in a construction company or an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firm is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and process complex tender dossiers and contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail.
A proactive mindset, taking ownership of tasks and adapting to dynamic challenges.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and processes.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
