What you'll do
- Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures within the plant
- Control compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Design, implement, and monitor the Health & Safety Management System
- Conduct inspections and risk assessments across facilities and processes
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans
- Train employees on safety procedures and proper PPE use
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports with preventive recommendations
- Provide guidance on facility design, new processes, and equipment selection
- Introduce methods and technologies for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Managers to ensure safety measures are applied
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and standards
- Experience with Health & Safety Management System and risk assessments
- Skills in incident investigation and report writing
- Training on safety procedures and emergency response plans
- Communication skills and collaboration with Production and Maintenance
- Project management and proficiency in MS Office
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineeringpreferred

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in Health & Safety within an industrial environment
Excellent knowledge of H&S legislation and standards
Proven experience in drafting reports, policies, and procedures
Strong command of English language
Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
Ability to manage projects, time, and resources effectively
Proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools
