About the job
Hellenic Cables S.A. is seeking a Health & Safety Engineer to join our Health & Safety department in Thiva’s Plant.
Role Description
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, procedures and instructions
Manage and carry out regular HSE audits and inspections ensuring timely closure of all identified actions
Is responsible for the overall planning, application, control and check of the HSE standards and their certification process
Identifiy legal and other requirements (e.g. ISO) and acknowledges all necessary steps for the company's compliance to them
Coordinate HSE incidents investigation process ensuring all incidents are investigated and that appropriate, corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Ensure proper HSE training of all employees
Manage contractors and ensure that they comply with the relevant legal and other HSE requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering field
At least 3years’ professional experience in industrial sector
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands, technologies, and market conditions.
Excellent command in Greek & English language (verbal and written communication skills)
Experience and training in health & safety administration is preferred
Any applicable safety certificates would be an asset
