Key Accountabilities

• Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess credit risk
• Manage credit limits and ensure compliance with company policies and insurance coverage requirements
• Review and process credit approval requests
• Work closely with sales, finance, and risk management teams to optimize credit strategies
• Monitor accounts receivable performance and recommend action plans for overdue accounts
• Assist in the development of credit risk models and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve credit decision-making
• Collaborate with credit insurers to ensure appropriate risk coverage
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations on credit risk exposure and customer payment behavior
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and trade finance
• Familiarity with credit insurance and risk mitigation strategies is a plus
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software. Εxperience with SAP is preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
