Elval Colour established in 1977 is a subsidiary of the ElvalHalcor Group, a leading manufacturer worldwide, in the segments of aluminium and copper. The company manufactures and sells a complete range of products in coated aluminium to meet all building envelope requirements.  We offer a full range of services related to the products we manufacture such as aluminium composite panels, zinc composite panels and pre-painted sheets and coils.

We are looking for Accounting Manager to join our team in our plant at Thiva, Viotia.

Responsibilities

•    Lead and supervise the Accounting Department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.
•    Manage accounting operations in compliance with IFRS and Greek GAAP.
•    Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliation processes.
•    Coordinate with the parent company on financial reporting and compliance.
•    Ensure adherence to internal policies and support external and internal audit processes.
•    Interpret and implement changes in tax and financial legislation.
•    Conduct preventive quality checks and initiate corrective actions as needed.
•    Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and KPIs.
•    Monitor and process invoices, bank statements, and general ledger entries.
•    Liaise with tax authorities during audits and inspections.
•    Support cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•    Postgraduate studies in a relevant area will be considered an asset
•    Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting roles
•    Excellent command of English, both written & spoken
•    Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
•    Excellent knowledge of MS Office and especially Excel
