What you'll do
- Participate in the technical delivery and reporting for a wide range of projects, taking ownership of at least one major workstream
- Demonstrate expert core consulting skills and advanced level of actuarial knowledge and industry expertise
- Communicate with client contacts and help manage expectations of delivery, content, timescales and cost
- Participate in the preparation and presentation to clients at senior executive and board levels
- Contribute to projects as a topic or subject matter specialist
- Develop intellectual property to support sales-oriented client interaction
- Assist in responding to client proposals
- Coach and mentor more junior staff
- Participate in team administration tasks such as feedback, counselling, finance, recruitment, and learning
- Keep up to date with industry news and trends, identifying risks or opportunities to improve services
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- General Insurance actuarial experience
- Actuarial knowledge
- Mathematics and analytical skills
- Continuous professional development commitment
- Communication skills for technical writing and client presentation
- Reserving under Solvency II
- Pricing techniques
- IFRS 17 knowledge
- Statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, SQL
- Data Visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau
- Finance and accounting knowledge
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Actuarial technology, analytics, automation and AI
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Actuarial Science / Engineering / Computer Science / Quantitative Fieldspreferred
