life and health underwriter

As part of our Underwriting Team you will contribute to delivering top-tier service and risk evaluation in the Life and Health Insurance sector.

Your day-to-day:

• Risk Evaluation: Assess and underwrite medical and non-medical proposals within your authority limits.
• Offer Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive offers to customers, brokers, or agents.
• Decision-Making: Negotiate, accept, or reject risks within your underwriting limits.
• Customer & Partner Communication: Maintain strong relationships with brokers and agents while providing state-of-the-art customer service.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new products and underwriting practices to enhance service delivery and underwriting processes.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 5+ years in Individual Life and Health Underwriting.
• Education: Degree in Economics, Statistics, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Individual Life and Health Products, Contract Terms, and underwriting processes.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Greek.
• Skills and Attributes:Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric mindset.
• Negotiation & Decision-Making: Advanced negotiation skills and sound decision-making abilities.
• Analytical Thinking: Critical and analytical mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality results.
