manager - data science consultant

We are seeking a Manager - Data Science Consultant to join EPAM, ideal for leaders with a strong mathematics background and a passion for hands-on work in Data Science, AI and ML.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Discover, envision and land Data Science, AI and Machine Learning opportunities with EPAM teams and clients

• Lead cross-functional teams through understanding business challenges and defining solutions leveraging AI, Data Science, Machine Learning and MLOps

• Work with clients to deliver AI Products that provide value to end-users

• Participate in EPAM competencies development and contribute to new and existing offerings in AI, Data Science, ML and MLE

• Bring creative engineering approaches to deliver practical applications of Machine Learning

• Collaborate with the DevOps practice on infrastructure and release planning

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in core Data Science and knowledge of advanced domains such as Computer Vision, NLP or Advanced Analytics

• Experience in consulting, including exploring business problems and converging them to applied AI technical solutions, as well as expertise in pre-sales and solution definition

• Experience delivering applied AI from concept to production, familiarity with MLOps and Data, design of Data Analytics platforms, data engineering and technical leadership

• Track record of delivering complex AI-empowered programs in a leadership position and experience managing and growing teams to scale Data Science, AI and ML capability

• Excellent communication skills, drive for problem-solving and creative solutions, high EQ

• Knowledge of Python, Databricks or Azure ML

• Background in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Hive

• Skills in AWS, Docker or Kubernetes

• Proficiency in databases including PL SQL, HQL or Mongo

• Familiarity with Google Vertex AI or similar platforms

• Expertise in one or more business domains such as CPG, Retail, Financial Services, Insurance or Healthcare/Life Science
