We are seeking a Lead Python Developer to join our innovative and agile Product Team in building a next-generation AI-powered financial assistant platform.

This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a small team of highly skilled engineers, and directly shape the product with a high level of autonomy.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable systems

• Collaborate with business users and team members to gather requirements and define project scope

• Ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability by following best practices

• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers

• Integrate and optimize FastAPI-based applications with AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes

• Contribute to infrastructure setup and enhancements using Terraform

• Build and deploy AI-powered tools and bespoke interfaces tailored to investment workflows

• Address edge cases, ensure a smooth user experience, and deliver high-quality solutions

• Work in a fast-paced startup environment while adapting to new technologies

• Assist in front-end integration tasks when necessary using React or TypeScript

• Align developments with project goals and timelines, emphasizing iterative deployment

Requirements

• Python, React (TS), or other programming languages with 5+ years of hands-on experience

• Expertise in FastAPI (or another Python framework), AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

• Background in high autonomy work environments, with the ability to drive tasks from concept to delivery

• Flexibility to adopt new tools and technologies as the platform evolves

• Understanding of high-quality system design, edge case management, and reliability-focused development

• Strong problem-solving skills, self-governance, and readiness for a startup environment

Nice to have

• Front-End Development in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, or Next.js

• Familiarity with Node.js development

• Background in AI/ML-powered applications
