Must oversee the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, with a primary focus on guest rooms. This role supports the daily operation of the department and acts as the Deputy in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper, always ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

• Maximize guest satisfaction by addressing all housekeeping-related needs.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance compliance.

• Handle and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services.

• Ensure timely and professional handling of guest requests.

• Perform frequent room inspections to ensure standards apply.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and departmental standards.

• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

• Create staff schedules based on hotel operations and departmental requirements.

• Lead, motivate, train and manage the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals.

• Assist in carrying out the Linen inventories.

• Perform any other task/project as assigned by the Exc-Housekeeper or Room Division Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Tourism.

• Fluency in English and Greek (spoken and written).

• Previous experience in a similar position within a hotel environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Team player with the ability to work under pressure.

• Flexibility to work in shifts.

• Knowledge of computer systems and hotel management software.
