What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner and escort them to their tables
- Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
- Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal, attending to guests' needs and preferences
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks
- Record transactions and orders in Point of Sales (POS) systems at the time of order
- Perform shift closing on POS terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements
- Ensure the restaurant is kept clean and organized at both front and back of house areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Point of Sales (POS) System and Handling Cash and Credit Card Settlements
- Food and Beverage Knowledge
- Health, Safety and Sanitation Regulations
- English Language - Conversational
- Multitasking, Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
- Generalpreferred
