What you'll do
- Oversee servers, routers, switches, and wireless access points to maintain reliable network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance to prevent outages and slowdowns affecting guest services or internal operations
- Manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems while securing networks and protecting guest information
- Maintain the PMS and integrate it with POS, housekeeping, and revenue management systems
- Maintain digital check-ins, in-room technology, guest service apps, and smart room technologies
- Update and patch business applications, including accounting, CRM, email, and T&C management systems
- Support staff by resolving technical issues and training them on new software or hardware
- Maintain computers, servers, printers, and other technology equipment; replace faulty devices when needed
- Protect systems and networks from cyber threats by managing antivirus tools, security patches, and vulnerability assessments
- Complete regular data backups and implement disaster recovery protocols for critical data
- Ensure compliance with guest data protection and storage regulations
Key requirements
- 4+ years' experience
- Network infrastructure, protocols, router and switch configuration, wireless technologies, and troubleshooting
- Network security, firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and cybersecurity
- Windows and Linux systems administration
- Data backup and recovery
- Hospitality software integration
- IT project management
- Computer Science / Network Engineering / Cybersecurity / Any Field
