What you'll do
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests to enhance their experience
- Greet and welcome guests warmly and handle inquiries professionally
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar
- Adhere to stock rotation and organization to prevent spoilage
- Assist with regular inventory counts and manage waste
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and manage intoxicated guests
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bar area
- Collaborate with kitchen and F&B staff for smooth operations
- Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation and customer service
- Maintain clear communication with bar team and other departments
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Customer service and complaint resolution skills
- Mixology and beverage preparation knowledge
- Health & Safety regulations and food safety knowledge
- Inventory management and stock rotation skills
- Cash handling and bar cleanliness experience
- Communication skills and English language proficiency
- Team collaboration and training skills
