What you'll do
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and engage in friendly conversation
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar including cash handling
- Adhere to stock rotation and organization to prevent spoilage and control costs
- Assist with inventory counts to track stock levels and manage waste
- Ensure alcohol service compliance with local laws and manage intoxicated guests
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols maintaining cleanliness in the bar area
- Collaborate with kitchen and F&B staff for smooth service and operations
- Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation and customer service
- Maintain clear communication with bar team and other departments
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including mixology skills
- Health & Safety and food safety regulations knowledge
- English language proficiency
- Cash and credit transaction handling
- Inventory management and bar cleanliness
