What you'll do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages using specialized espresso machines
- Adapt beverage preparation to customer preferences including diet and flavor variations
- Provide friendly, customer-focused service representing the first contact with guests
- Maintain and clean equipment and machines regularly
- Monitor and renew stock supplies, ensuring freshness and proper storage
- Train new staff on beverage preparation and customer service practices
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate effectively with team members about guest preferences and product availability
- Comply with health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Inform guests accurately about food allergens in beverages
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Health, safety, and sanitation regulations knowledge
- Equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Stock management and proactive organization
- English language proficiency and MS Office proficiency
- Multi-tasking under pressure and team collaboration
- Communication skills and analytical skills
- Food allergen awareness
- General / Barista Trainingpreferred
