What you'll do
- Create governance frameworks aligning IT, Compliance, Risk, and business teams
- Design decision-making structures, approval processes, and escalation paths
- Establish how IT projects are prioritized, funded, and overseen
- Ensure critical systems operate safely and compliantly
- Establish IT operations frameworks meeting regulatory standards
- Build controlled, auditable system lifecycle, change, and release processes
- Create service level agreements supporting critical business functions
- Identify and assess IT risks in regulated environments
- Design IT risk mitigation strategies
- Set up monitoring to keep IT risks under control
- Design and run IT PMO functions
- Ensure projects remain compliant from start to finish
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- IT governance frameworks and IT processes
- IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations
- IT risk management and risk-based governance
- IT PMO and portfolio management
- IT lifecycle management, change and release management, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Life sciences platforms and FDA, HIPAA, and GXP requirements
