Key requirements

  • Familiarity with industrial systems and protocols such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMIs
  • Understanding of OT security standards and frameworks including IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82
  • Experience with security network engineering, network routing and switching
  • Working knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall technologies
  • Ability to analyze and respond to alerts and anomalies
  • Experience in security vulnerability management and remediation planning

During your tenure as a Senior OT Security Engineer, you should be able to:

  • Monitor and secure OT/ICS environments using OT threat-detection platforms.

  • Analyze and respond to alerts, identifying anomalies and suspicious activity across industrial networks.

  • Support clients in identifying security weaknesses and improving their cyber resilience through the design and development of custom detection rules and use cases tailored to OT/ICS systems.

  •  Assess industrial network architectures, improve network segmentation, and enhance the security and operational resilience of OT environments.

  • Support vulnerability management activities and remediation planning initiatives across OT environments.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with OT, network and field engineers to embed security into operational processes.

  • Act as a technical lead during client engagements, solution implementations, and project delivery activities, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of OT/ICS security expertise and strong network security fundamentals. We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering, Information Security or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong background in Security Network Engineering with hands-on experience on network security controls design, implementation and configuration).

  • Hands-on experience with OT/ICS threat-detection and monitoring platforms. Relevant vendor certifications in these technologies will be considered an asset.

  • Practical knowledge of industrial environments (PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMIs), systems and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, PROFINET, Omnibus, OPC-UA) with knowledge and understanding of the Purdue mode.

  • Familiarity with OT security standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443 / ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82), and industrial network architectures.

  • Solid understanding of network routing and switching, including VLANs, ACLs, and secure network segmentation. Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) would be considered an asset.

  • Working knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong passion for OT cybersecurity and advisory services, coupled with a proactive drive for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
