About the job

Are you a sharp, deal-driven professional ready to work on some of the most complex transactions in the market? We’re looking for a Manager/Senior Manager to join our M&A Transaction Services team in Athens — a high-performing group within our Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory practice. We advise private equity funds, international investors, and corporates on high-stakes transactions, delivering rigorous financial due diligence and transaction support that shapes real decisions.

As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will own client relationships and lead engagements end-to-end — from early-stage diligence to final deliverables. You’ll combine commercial instinct with financial rigour, contributing directly to the team’s growth and reputation while building your own leadership footprint.

In this role, you will:

-Lead and manage teams across mid-to-large scale M&A transactions, taking full accountability for quality and delivery

-Analyse complex financial information and extract meaningful insights using data analytics and visualisation tools
-Evaluate synergies and identify risks to support informed decision-making in post-deal integration and divestiture contexts
-Translate financial data into clear, well-structured findings and actionable recommendations for clients
-Drive the diligence process from data request to key findings, working closely with clients and target management teams
-Produce high-quality reports and presentations that communicate complex issues with precision and clarity
-Manage workstreams and team members against project timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
-Apply deep understanding of financial analysis frameworks relevant to transaction contexts
-Uphold Deloitte’s standards of quality, independence, and confidentiality on every engagement
-Coach and develop junior team members, sharing deal experience and technical knowledge
-Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, targets, advisors, and internal stakeholders at all levels
-Act as a Deloitte ambassador, embodying our commitment to excellence, integrity, and impact

To qualify for the role you must have:

- 6-8 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or M&A advisory, ideally within a Big 4 or leading international professional services firm
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
- A postgraduate degree or professional qualification (CFA, CPA, ACCA, ACA) is a strong plus
- Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage priorities under pressure, and deliver in a fast-moving deal environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and confidently
- Sharp analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and financial modelling
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage
- Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
