What you'll do
- Partner with clients and teams to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technology architectures
- Lead definition of application architectures, integration patterns, technology choices, and implementation approaches
- Design AI-enabled solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, and modern cloud architecture
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, best practices, and guidance across the software development lifecycle

Key requirements

As a Forward Deployed Software Architect, you'll combine deep software engineering expertise, architecture skills and client-facing capabilities to design and deliver technology solutions that create measurable business impact. You will:

Collaborate with engineering teams to translate architectural decisions into secure, scalable and production - ready solutions;
Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering best practices and guidance across the software development lifecycle;
Bridge business and technology by working closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful, production ready solutions;
Contribute to Deloitte's technology capabilities by developing reusable architectures, accelerators and engineering best practices.

To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field;
6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture or technical leadership roles;
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise - scale software solutions;
Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, integration architectures and cloud - native solutions;
Experience designing full - stack, distributed or enterprise application architectures;
Strong development background with hands - on experience in modern programming languages and software engineering practices
Experience with APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms and DevOps practices;
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions;
Experience with AI - enabled solutions, Generative AI applications or AI - assisted software development is a strong advantage.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
