What you'll do
- Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and technical planning sessions
- Use AI tools to accelerate implementation, including code generation, refactoring, and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development lifecycle
- Participate in and lead code reviews and peer programming sessions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance software components

Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript expertise
- Experience with software architecture and technical planning
- Use of AI tools such as Claude Code to enhance development workflows
- Version control with Git and agile development (Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
- Skills in troubleshooting technical issues, mentoring, and leading development teams
- Strong communication skills in English

About the job
As a Senior Software Developer – Node.js (m/f/d) with a strong focus on quality assurance, you will contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and technical planning, including responsible use of AI tools such as Claude Code or similar to enhance development and testing workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-tested software solutions across the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include:
Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and technical planning sessions
Use modern AI tools and AI-enhanced workflows to accelerate implementation, including code generation, refactoring and testing while maintaining architectural integrity
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the development lifecycle
Participate in and sometimes lead code reviews and peer programming sessions
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software components
Serve as a technical focal point for the team, acting as a Lead Developer in planning and mentoring
Your Profile
Your know-how
5+ years of of professional software development experience with Node.js applications at enterprise architecture level, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern AI tools and 3+ years in software architecture
Experience with version control (Git) and agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principle
Your personality
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Experience mentoring other developers or leading small teams
Strong technical leadership and decision-making skills
Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
