DEMO SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, is currently looking for a responsible Project Engineering Senior Technician to support the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects within our Engineering Department, based in Kryoneri.

This is a highly hands-on role, actively involved in the installation, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and operational readiness of manufacturing equipment on-site.

The Project Engineering Senior Technician supports engineering project activities related to equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness. The role requires strong practical technical understanding, field presence, and close collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Validation, external contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure installations are completed safely, effectively, and in line with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and execution of engineering projects related to the installation of manufacturing equipment.      

  • Provide hands-on technical support during equipment installation, start-up and operational readiness activities.

  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, implementation schedules, and key milestones to help ensure on-time completion.          

  • Follow up on the implementation of new manufacturing machines by identifying required actions and helping prioritize project tasks.

  • Coordinate with involved departments to support resource planning and implementation timing for project activities.

  • Contribute to the timely start-up and operational readiness of technical manufacturing equipment.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to support adherence to agreed project schedules.

  • Support the handover of completed installations to end users by ensuring documentation and technical readiness are in place.

  • Prepare and maintain project-related documentation, progress updates, and implementation records.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Validation, Maintenance, and other relevant departments throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in engineering projects, technical operations, equipment installation, or a similar role within an industrial environment.

  • Experience in project coordination and working effectively under demanding timelines.

  • Good technical understanding of manufacturing equipment installation, troubleshooting, and start-up activities.

  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors in support of project execution.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment will be considered an asset.
