What you'll do
- Unload products from incoming vehicles and place in designated storage locations
- Check and replenish pallet and box picking positions daily
- Prepare and load orders
- Receive and store factory-produced products
- Move palletized products for storage, shipping, and space savings
- Transport packaging materials to production areas and load shipments to other distribution centers
- Inspect forklifts for repair needs and perform routine maintenance for safety
- Comply with safety rules and instructions from the Technical Safety Officer
- Visually inspect and sort incoming pallets for storage or utilization
- Load unsuitable byproducts onto transport vehicles for disposal
Key requirements
- Forklift operation and certification
- Scanner operation
- Use of warehouse management software including ERP and WMS
- Practical experience with warehouse management databases
- Space organization skills
- Participation in warehouse management seminars
- Speed at work, attention to detail, and effectiveness
- Cooperation and communication skills
- Ability to work shift work
- Technical High School
